SoulChat’s published interface describes different places for these facts. Decide who should receive the information before adding it.
The card includes name, personality, relationship and background. Its explanation says every character will know this information. A reusable fictional self-description can belong here; a relationship intended for only one companion should not be written as if it applies to all of them.
Correct the saved fact, then Save. For a fictional radio programme, “The guest arrives Tuesday; Monday was the earlier plan” belongs with that companion’s record. Forget removes an individual memory and asks for confirmation because the action cannot be undone.
The current group creator selects the companions before starting. Give the first group message a common task: the guest is confirmed, the opening music is chosen and two interview questions remain. This supplies shared context without assuming that every one-to-one memory transfers to the group.
After changing the radio guest’s date, ask which tasks remain before the interview. That gives the companion a reason to use the corrected plan without putting the desired Tuesday answer in the question itself.
The privacy policy describes a limited recent memory window for free accounts and extended retention for VIP. Editing a visible record does not establish permanent retention or perfect retrieval. The published controls were inspected; no logged-in memory edit was performed for this publication.
A short return note can name the present task, the last decision and the next open question. For the radio programme: the guest is confirmed, the opening music is chosen and the interview still needs two questions.
A recap is a starting point for a new turn. It is not a complete export of a companion's internal context. Keep your own original fictional brief if the project matters to you.
For a group, distinguish the scene's shared rule from a private companion fact. A group feature alone does not prove that every personal memory is shared with every participant.
The September 2026 terms prohibit sexually explicit/NSFW material and deceptive real-person likeness use. Creator-rating language about private chat is broader; it does not erase that policy conflict or establish an exception.
The privacy policy describes message processing by AI systems and service providers, plus anonymized evaluation and improvement use. It qualifies a blanket “nothing is processed” interpretation of private chat.
